Subterfuge Publishing opened its doors and website in 2004. Subterfuge Publishing decided to only publish a few select books a year that could meet their high standards. They now publish books by renowned numismatist and author Mike Fuljenz and political novelist, David J. Hearne. Both authors have had their releases well received. Currently Subterfuge Publishing is releasing another book by Mike Fuljenz and plans to have a political thriller by David Hearne out in the fall of 2010. This is a busy year for our publishing company. We have been involved in various book shows in Houston and Denton Texas just north of Dallas, Texas.
Mike Fuljenz an award-winning author and Numismatist provides inestimable experience and knowledge of all things numismatic. Since 1986, Mike has received thirty (30) Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) Awards, including three NLG Book of the Year Awards in a specialized category, and twelve (12) total awards for his investment and collectibles newsletters. In 2009, Mike received his 3rd NLG "Best Dealer Publication" award for the information featured in his brand new, comprehensive Gold Guide. In 1996, he also received the prestigious American Numismatic Association's Presidential Service Award for his long-running professional service to the numismatic industry. He also previously served as the committee chairman of the grading service for the American Numismatic Association. |
Author David Hearne has been involved in literature for numerous years. He has written both fiction and non-fiction. His newest work is a thriller titled "The Christmas Special." It is a tale of a terrorist attack on America launched on Christmas morning. Bloodstained Tales of Sin and Sex was also released in 2014 which is a compendium of short horror stories. His previous book "Hulagu's Web - The Presidential Pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge" was a political/thriller novel. It was about a woman Senator running for President and those who wanted to stop her by whatever means necessary. Additionally he authored the book "Enable Command Performance" a 500 page non-fictional work delving into computer programming concepts. Hearne lives in Lumberton, Texas with his wife and daughter in his beautiful eclectic Bed and Breakfast appropriately named Book Nook Inn. He has two sons, Alex currently serving in Afghanistan as a navy medic and Scott a veteran of the Iraq war. David is a closet activist who hopes his social and politically charged novels will have the power to effect changes needed by society. He feels exciting fiction conveyed through the lives of its characters help arouse empathy in readers for all sides of important issues. |
